DC and its blithering, posturing, megalomaniac idiots are dishing up decades of comedy gold these days. The saga of Liz "Pocahontas" Warren staggers on in a haze of 19th hole martini fumes.

Apparently, cold crab omelettes were de rigueur under the stars, as the poor Cherokee struggled westward towards new, unfamiliar homes arranged around newly opened country clubs, on rustic, frontier cul de sacs. It must be so, since Liz contributed such a recipe, among others, to "Pow Wow Chow," in which she listed herself as Cherokee.

Seriously. Liz, please? My wife's great-grandmother was pure Shinnecock, and two of my mid-18th century ancestors married Delaware squaws, but we couldn't be bothered to put it on our resumes.

This shit is pure gold.

Granddad was Irish Cherokee....hauled moonshine from here to Tennessee.....and yeah we never would use it one some damn resume or curriculum vitae. The woman is trash if you ask me....just like all the mixed black/whites who always identify as black because it offers privileges not afforded whites. A mere hint in the night resulting a few percentage of some culture's DNA does not make you that race or culture. I am 30% Scandanavian/Norse to go with my 60% Irish but I wouldn't now call myself a Viking.

my Great Grandfather was from Scotland(which would make me 1/8 scottish?)........yet i dont run around in a kilt telling everyone to eat haggis and play the bagpipes......last i checked i was born in America and was raised "american"...

so why do people feel the need to pretend to be "indian" just because they are a tiny scrap native american (allegedly)........i highly doubt mrs warren was raised in a wigwam chanting around a fire......so what the hell makes her an expert on anything native american?

All of my ancestors came from Germany, while I might make fun of you in a kilt, I don't have a problem with bagpipes. Some of the greatest music ever done was done with bagpipes.
