I have a ballistics edge annealer which I am still learning to use. The last batch of brass I put through was under annealed judging by the change in color of the brass. My question is, would it be a detriment if the brass was annealed a second time with the required temperature? Thanks

No. As long as you don't over heat so that you end up annealing the entire cartridge, you can anneal the same point over. I don't see a point though - just shoot it and do it right the second time around. Also, it's hard to tell whether it was properly annealed by look alone. I prefer going by feel - you'll feel a difference resizing annealed brass versus non-annealed brass.

you need to use tempilac at 625 and 400 on your cases, otherwise you are absolutely guessing. put the 625 up on you neck and the 400 on the body....
try mcmaster carr... about 15 bucks and will last you 20 years...

+1 very hard to tell by color alone if you got it right. To answer the question directly, no it is not a problem to do them again now.

+1 jeff, i have been annealing using liquid salt and it doesn't produce any noticeable color change on the case,( other then chucks of white salt sticking to the case) so using color as an indicator that cases have been properly annealed wouldn't work for this method of annealing. I dont know anything about annealing cases twice though
