Annealing Templaq results help

Im using an Annealeez with the digital readout. I used some 750 templaq on my dasher brass. Please analyze and let me know which one if any or longer is needed. In the picture from right to left is the following read out.

First one 5.9

Next one 5.7

Two on the far right 5.7. I redid one with less templaq because I went down the case too far and the brass quit spinning.

Put it inside the neck so that the flame is not burning it directly, when it melts and goes clear you’re good and a slight bit over that it goes black which is also fine but it doesn’t need to be longer.

No, it’ll cook on a bit but a neck brush with a little 0000 steel wool will clean it up nicely.

Personally I think tempilaq especially the 750 one sucks, difficult to detect when it melts.
The magic 750 degree number, I dont know where it came from but I believe it is too low.

Not sure how it would work with a flame annealer but you can try this method with some scrap brass and
see if it works.

In the dark with some test brass start low and keep increasing the anneal time until the neck JUST STARTS
to turn red. Test a few to confirm the consistency of the brass changing color and if its consistent then
reduce the anneal time by a few tenths of a second. That should put you where you need to be.

I am using an induction annealer so its easy to see the case neck change color, you need to
test it for yourself to see if it can be done with a flame setup.
