Tight bore Krieger barrel on my Badger M2008. Finished off at 18" I'm wondering what kind of velocities I'll get. .2980 bore and .3065 groove, 12 twist. Should be interesting!
Watch your pressures with a "tight bore" Are you a moly shooter? Might be fun to try with a good cast bullet if you want to see what that barrel will really do.
I really like the trigger. I have two of them so far.
I don't think I'd ever want to mess with moly. Just sounds like a big pain in the ass. I'm definitely going to be watching the pressures. Most likely I'll be trying bullets that the tightbore was designed for. 155's that have a really short engagement area. Maybe the new Sierra palma?
Cast bullet? For what purpose? (I'd like to know more.)
I do have an extra ARD that I could put on the end. Maybe I should stack all my ARDs and take a pic...</div></div>
Great idea...then turn that FTE brake 90 degrees, that way you'll blow the dust off your lens every time you shoot. It's like a self cleaning scope..........you'll thank me later.
M852 shot at a velocity of 2550ft/s. I think that's pretty impressive considering I keep reading that is supposed to be the suggested velocity of M852.
