Hunting & Fishing Another great weekend (deer and pigs)

Took the My Little Man out this weekend to do a little hunting with some close friends and caught up with a deer I have been trying to get him on since the start of season. He also pulled off a 120 yard head shot on a pig (he's 7). Our lovely company also made a through the ear shot on another boar, her first kill.

Ha, ya. My son wanted to do the whole thing, I talked him into just the front of the barrel. He allready has plans for my next one (something in skulls) That's the gun I shoot comps with as well. Before anyone asks it's a 243, and we were shooting 115 d-tacs. I wanted to spend a little more time behind the Hensoldt so it went hunting with us. The d-tacs did great by the way. Deer went 20 ft with a double lung, and the pigs went strait down with the headshots.

Nicely done!....you guys from Texas have got it going on...wish my little guys could hunt that young....I may have to find a place to take them them down there....

They have to wait until they turn 12 here....its a shame...

I really don't get that. A youth Licenses here is 7 bucks, resident or not! you don't get off quite that easy. You should bring them hunting here, they would love it.

I thought I recognized that rifle. We shot on the same squad at the LRA Match. The flames on the muzzle made me look twice. Great hunt & pics, congrats.
