I had an A-bolt in 338 that was an absolute bastard! Shot good though, and it was a lot more gun than that little Savage. I would bet that its no picnic to shoot. Especially from a bench.

Gotta hand it to Savage, they really are in tune on making the kind of rifles that the public wants. I wish Remington would do this. I don't have a problem with Savage at all, I'd just like to stick to what I already own.
