Another OCW test question.

Alright gentleman, need Opinion on my OCW test. I'm thinking I need to work on the 41.6 gr. load, but would appreciate your opinions.

Why not 41.9? Very low vertical spread

I'm definitely going with the 41.6 on mine. Loading some rounds for tomorrow as we speak. All of your numbers look exactly as mine did.

Your 41.9 looks good. I would feed off of that one.

Not really. One of my shots tripped my buddies chronograph today. It recorded 2824 fps. I'm loading .260 rem. Max range I've got to shoot to is 1000 yards.

Borrow his chronograph for more information on how fast each charge is going. Without a speed reading groups will only be good at a 100. Without speed or drop testing you won't know what to dial for 1000.

I like to compare where the shots are impacting the same location for different charge weights. So, I would try 42.0 gr.

This is why I use chrono data first. Then use seating depth for groups.

You can take 10 people and get 10 answers on what they see here.

Based on just this pic though, I’d probably load 42.0 or 42.1 and do a seating depth test.

Or 41.4.

Load in the middle of the charge weights that showed consistency.
