Another reason to permanently boycott the NFL

[h=1]Houston Texans planning pregame protest over owner Bob McNair comments, report says[/h]
Houston Texans players are reportedly planning a unified protest before Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks after controversial remarks by the team owner.

Texans owner Bob McNair had met with the team Saturday morning and apologized for his previous comments that "we can't have the inmates running the prison" during a meeting of NFL owners.

Apologize? The Team Owner is apologizing for telling these un-incarcerated cons "the truth"? He's the gawd dam owner of these side show freaks. It's been said already. The people pay for the dancing bear to dance on command. Period. May they all choke violently on their mouth pieces. I really hope the entire sport crumbles into oblivion. We're out nothing if this shit show tanks and never recovers........

J; You're yelling..... ;)

I hope the NFL tanks and I will never spend another dime on the NFL, but unfortunately most Americans have a memory about as long as a chimpanzees and as soon as the MSM quits highlighting these idiots it will be back to normal.

Palmetto, I can't stand the truth of what you're saying, but at the same time I like what you said. We here too hope to see NO MORE nfl. A bigger bunch of whining millionaires I've never seen. The fact that idiots are rewarded for idiocy is lunatic, whereas so many others (soldiers/first responders/firemen,police,nurses[some teachers]) should be paid much more than they are. And a few others...

What's worse though, is that "the people" in general are too stupid to realize that they're not smart enough to glean the propaganda that is main-stream-media.

Deep, sinister, and sad statement, that.

College educated, but too stupid to understand what a figure of speech is. If you told one of them that, they might get offended thinking it was some kind of slave term. "I aint no figure of speech"

The question I have is, do I really want to see an organization that has entertained me since I can remember, to go under, because some of its current employees are un-greatfull pieces of trash? Or at the very least misinformed malcontents. The offending employees need to be shown the hard side of life, I.E be fired for code of conduct violations.

Someone at work last night told me, "they have their right to free speech, what can they do.?" I told him start exercising yours and see how fast you can lose your minimum wage job for conduct violations. When he realized almost all of us in this country can be fired for the way we act at work. It pretty much changed his entire perception of both sides of the situation. He had just heard to many main stream talking points, and not taken the time to deduce it reasonably.

We had a saying on the drilling rig," leave it at the cattle guard." If you are pissed from work don't take it home, if you are pissed from home, don't bring it work.

they may have a piece of paper....but most of these people are not "college educated".......the only reason most of them graduated highschool is because they could play football.....and for the same reason, thats why most of them graduate college.

colleges pay a lot of money for these athletes.....and they put a lot of pressure on professors to give them passing grades.

and youll notice, most of these players arent getting Engineering or physics degrees.......theyre getting degrees in "sports management" or some other useless tailored degree for athletes thats easy enough for them to pass.

hell, even on the D3 level, i have to excuse students from class to go to practice or to games........like, what is the priority here?......students receiving an education, or students playing a sport?

and i mean, i get it, i was an NCAA athlete myself.....however my coach NEVER scheduled practice or games in a way that would cause us to miss classes........he was of the belief that we were "students first".

Lets not overgeneralize here. I am sure there are a lot of very smart and well educated players. "College educated" means they got a piece of paper. Anyone can get a degree without learning anything useful.

You know you're right when you're right. You're talking while invoking reason and I'm pissed off talking out my ass. I admit it. But when I get my fill I'm all in on burning shit to the ground and worrying about the after effects later. Not a great way to operate I agree, but very effective. I agree 100% they need to be held accountable and purged.

Don't take me the wrong way, I like to go into a dark room and clank axes together, and disrespecting veterans pisses me off like beating women; but it occurred to me these ass holes are destroying something that doesn't belong to them.

It pisses me off when I hear the, "give them circuses," line. The NFL is not given to me buy the government to entertain me. It is a product of how well capitalism has worked for this country. It is paid for by disposable income form people who choose to entertain themselves in their "free time" by watching or attending games, and buying swag. Watched by the rich and poor a-like, enjoyed with all the amenities our first world country provides.

It is also a great example of how tons of money make a bunch of corrupt mother fuckers. Every year I realize more and more, it is barely more real than professional wrestling. Either that, or every year the officials get more blind. That is why I don't watch like I used too. Corrupt and disrespectful mother fuckers are destroying something I like. Same thing is happening to something I love.

Can't boycott something I was never into in the first place. I remember back when I was like 12 or 13 and I spent over 200 bucks on a Dallas Cowboys jacket that had an autograph on it by someone I had no clue who it was, but yet I bought the jacket simply because it looked cool. Ah, the nice life of being young and stupid. :D

It isn't just the players taking part in this shit show.
Goodell started a fire when he gave the sit on the fence speech.

And he's probably gonna have to answer for that as well. Something like 17 owners are after his ass as we speak. Trying to get more support to can his ass also. Flush and start all over? I think Professor Dickweed would be amiable to that. :p

Someone at work last night told me, "they have their right to free speech, what can they do.?"

I hear this in the media and it drives me bat shit crazy "free speech and the first amendment" does not apply here or have a damn thing to do with it. When they suit up and take to the field they are employees at work and the NFL and the team owners can enforce what ever rules or policy's of how they want their employees to act and behave while on the clock, but they are to damn scared of setting off the apes. Funny how the NFL wouldn't allow the Dallas Cowboys to wear decals supporting Dallas police on their helmets back in 2016......https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dal...-helmets-games or not let Avery Williamson wear cleats honoring 9/11 victims http://nypost.com/2016/09/09/police-...rs-911-cleats/ but they were to scared to tell Colin Clownfuck he couldn't wear his pig socks.............Fuck the NFL apparently their hypocrisy has no bounds!

Forget all the new shiny stuff being flashed around, Kapernick started this with an action against PIGS (the PO PO) and oppression of other blacks by them, When called on it, the players said they were just looking for social justice. Come to find out Social Justice meant they did not like the outcome when black thugs took on the police straight up including trying to kill them, Do you remember them bringing examples of church going people on their way to or from church. No, it is always the DREDGES of their world.

Fast forward to NOW where Kapernick is being put forward to be the head of Black Lives Matter which takes us Back to the dredges of society that repeatedly call for the death of Police Officers and white people, no matter what THEIR job. This is a violent Marxist group and should not be sheltered by MSM, NFL, or ANYONE else. I am white and realize they want to kill me and will be keeping that in mind in case we cross paths after dark when they do their dirty work. Political group my ass.

Yeah, and those 17 owner's comments and constructive criticism up to this point ? Crickets. My guess is Goodell is going to get whacked, he's gonna be the scapegoat. Someone has to. He'll get a huge "un-disclosed" severance package to help him with his humility therapy and he'll go sit on the beach, sipping fruity drinks with colored umbrellas for the rest of his life. He's got nothing to worry about, other than history books. Where have I seen that pattern before ?

What amazes me is that lately, there doesn't seem to be anyone capable of "keeping it between the ditches", about anything. The NFL was the goose that continued to constantly lay golden eggs. If for no other reason (of which there are plenty), I will not watch any more football because of the player's (and owner's) abject stupidity. "You" (the NFL) had it in the palm of your hands. And you couldn't help yourselves and keep from fucking it up. Where were all the good men (in the NFL) when this started, or even now ? Doing nothing. I think we have all been warned about that. This is a good lesson to us all. I'm not the sharpest tool in the chandelier, but I certainly learned something and it wasn't even my fuck up that taught me.

Oh, and make no mistake. SF 49'ers are pissing in the face of every law abiding gun owner in this country with their antics. Suppressor ban ? Show me the number of violent crimes committed with cans, then compare that to the number of homicides committed in the hood with cars, baseball bats or knives, then tell me again what should be banned. I think the comparison would be staggeringly out of proportion. But, never let a good conflict go to waste, nor confuse emotions with fact. Contributing to a suppressor ban ? Fuck them all. Oh, and if you are a gun owner and you spend any money on anything NFL, you might want to re-think it.

I guess I can't say I'm done with the NFL as I never started.
The hilarity of athlete millionaires speaking about racism/prejudice is a bridge to far.
The irony of the NFL demographics and the above statements is 10 to the 23rd pile of stupid.
I'll enjoy their nose/face destruction.

I know this thread is stale, but I just had to share this;

"The other night I left 3 NFL tickets on my car seat, came out, the window was smashed and I found 4 more tickets"..

I saw that in the comments section of one of the Breitbart articles about T/N/F attendance being the worst ever. Thought it was hilarious.
