With the political (and pansy climate) as it is, I am wanting to add an AR to the dim collection I own.

I am currently debating adding a Pony (6920), FN, or the Seekins (SP15 NOXs 16) rifle right now. I have looked at the BCM's and Daniels, but dont want to drop that amount of coin. The M&P has also caught my eye dut to the price, but no hands on time.

I have had Colts and Daniels before (and training on the platform; thanks Uncle Sam's Misguided Children), but the Seekins NOXs rifle catches my eye, badly.

What does the hide say? I could care less about resale value, just something for fun (plinking, maybe hunting, who knows).

AND; I know some will say build it for cheap, but I dont have the time right now, or the want to build. Yes it's fun (and some will say cheaper) but an off the shelf rifle will do me just fine.

You can never go wrong with a Colt. I build on the 6920 platform and its offspring every week. Daniel Defense makes a fine rifle, but you will pay more and if you are plinking, why bother. I don't shoot or handle much in Seekins, but they are making some nice rifles. LaRue is good as well.

Then, we are back at a solid Colt around $1,200.

Over hill, over dale, as we hit the dusty trail, and the Lowers keep adding on up... dah..., dum..., dee...

    Really.

How many lowers do you actually need at one time?

Are you planning on having a bunch over so everyone can shoot a shot simultaneously?

Just get another/more upper(s), they swap out in a minute or so. Milspec mounts onto Milspec, is all...

Might save enough moolah that you could get (a) nicer Upper(s), Optic(s), whatever(s).

They take up less space that way, too...

    Just a thought...
