Multiple times this happened. l liken it to the parking lot...park away from people and by the time you come out 2 or 3 cars will be parked right next to you....as if their cars get lonely.
I also get the guy with a brake next to me when I’m shooting rimfire, every damn time. The way these places are set up you’re usually directly center of the blasts 3-4’ from your face lol

If so, you shouldn't be shooting MOFO. A small amount of courtesy goes a LONG way.
I have no issues with 338 or massive pressure...just let me know so I can get out of the zone of deafness (which did worsen signifiantly after that with doubled up plug&muffs). Besides, you're not going to be rapid firing a 338 if you want your barrel to last.
