Hi

I have to choice about my scope mount . My gun is remington 700p .308 i use Night force NXS 5.5-22 x 56 with night force base 20 moa.
I plan to buy American Defense quick release mount

AD-Recon-S or AD-Recon-SW

I know about the length between front ring and back ring is different.

Anyone , have an advise for me Thankyou so much.

Re: Any advise for AD-Recon mount

Why do you want a QD mount? Get Nightforce or Seekins rings and do it right.

I've owned AD mounts, they are ok I guess for a blaster AR, but I wasn't impressed with them one bit. That mount will be the weak link in your whole system.

Re: Any advise for AD-Recon mount

I have a ADM mount on my AR. While it is a good mount for an AR not sure how good of an application it is for a bolt gun.

If you are really looking for QD, checkout GDi or Bobro.

If you are set on the ADM moutns I think either of the mounts, S or SW, would work for you.

Re: Any advise for AD-Recon mount

I run an ADM Recon S. However, I use AICS, so scope height is not an issue give the adjustable cheek piece. I found the ADM mount to be robust and well built.

Thankyou guy , first time i thinked ADM mount it look nice and feel tactical. After all your answer , i think i will move to BADGER or night force ring. Thankyou guy

Re: Any advise for AD-Recon mount

According to their drawings with a BoBro 30mm extended mount, tube center will be 1.575 inches above rail, while with the American Defense you would be 1.47 inches up. Not a significant difference, but based on the drawings it appears the BoBro would be just slightly higher than the American Defense off the rail.
