What do you guys think? Maybe an A5 forend that is skinier with the same depth and an A3 butt?

I posted on facebook asking about this particular combo and they said they haven't had much request for it, but to tell my friends to post an interest if any on their page on facebook.

I think it would be pretty nice because I love the grip of the A5 especially if it was thinner by maybe a 1/4" on each side with the A3 style butt.

What do you think? Stupid? Who gives a crap?

Thats why I have a t2 there is time when a hook is nice (and I have an a-5) but there is also a time when a sloped butt is nice ie: t-2 a-3

I always wondered why McMillan never made one.

That one looks nice. I just like the but of the A3. No big deal really I'll get an A3 or A3 Sporter, just wondering what everyone thought.

Ryan, do you happen to have a few pics of the A3 Sporters? I've only found very few online. What's the weight of them with standard fill and edge fill??

totally off subject

but what about taking the baker special grip and rear and combining that with either an a1-3 or a-3 forend well actually from the rear action screw forward.

fixed rear pad with terry cross hardware

that would be a great stock. to me that baker sure is comfy but its a big stock with that 3 way butt

back to the original question yes i would like a a5-3

i think it would make a perfect stock for a prarie dog rifle that i need to build

the a3 rear would track better in a set of bags

I guess really the possibilities are endless! I have no problem with the others, just thought the A5-3 would be a cool concept

I always thought a nonadjustable A3-5 would be the shizzle. Love my A3-5s, but never use the adjustable cheek...
