Any Long Range shooting or PRS within 1hr of Heber City UT?

Likely moving to Heber City UT and was surprised to see that the closest long distance range was 1.5 hours away in Perry.

Also noticed that the only PRS matches are North Utah and Central Utah - both about 2-3 hours away from Heber.

For those familiar with the area, is there any long distance shooting or matches closer than that? Or is there at least BLM land that’s safe to put out a target 500-1000yds where there’s not people shooting around you?

You can shoot NW for miles around that location.

All the PRS one day i believe is posted on the PRS but check the Vernal Matches.

Those are the closest to you. A few coming up. They might be listed on whatever location CO is for the PRs regions.

Pretty sure there’s a regional PRS match in Manti/Heber City. It would be in the Rocky Mountain - south region. So there must be a suitable range nearby.

Price, vernal, evenston, WY are all within striking distance and host both regional and national level matches.

Well brother. We have a home in Midway, so we will have to link up. They're are a lot of spots to get out to some distance.

My son lives in Salt Lake City, and has all kinds of places to shoot within a few minutes drive. I'll ask him to check in.
