Sidearms & Scatterguns Any Love For The Spyderco Para Military 2

Don't know much about knives, but I do have a PM2 with S35VN blade. Blade is quite sharp, scales/shape is ergonomic for various uses, weight seems fine - it is however a bit large for EDC. You either like the Spydyhole or you hate it, didn't take me long to learn how to deploy it quickly.

I've carried a military, left hand for over six years. Tried the para but could never get comfortable with it. Could not get it into action as quick as the mil. Gave it to a buddy of mine and he loves it (lost it three or four times but always comes back to him).

A good, solid knife that sits nice in the hand. I have to say though, I don't like the arc of the blade for everyday tasks. Feels like I have to turn the wrist toward the palm toward wrist too much to use the point effectively.

Definitely one of the best edc knives for the $ IMHO. I own and have gone through at least 10 different PM2's over the years. None of them have broke or worn out, I just switched to carrying and using my ZT's more often now a days. Awesome knives though and quite a few different ones to choose from that all use really good blade steel and are razor sharp. I highly recommend them!!!

The PM2 was my primary EDC for a few years though I rotated it with a number of other knives. I keep coming back to it though; it's lightweight, has perfect blade centering and a nice crisp lock-up, good ergos and the S30V steel can take a wicked edge. The blade is a little thin for "hard use" but it is a great slicer and perfect for EDC tasks. I can't imagine not having one in my rotation, buy one you won't regret it.
