Does anyone make a mount with a user changeable base? I've just been strapping the MagnetoSpeed to my suppressor for years because I haven't found a bracket or mount that can go from dovetail to picatinny, but if there's one out there, I'd love to pick one up

You guys are gonna love these new mounts, and they are a month ahead of schedule. Just got sent to anodization. After using all the mounting systems out there, I'm confident this is the one to rule them all. Very stiff, and I'll let the quality speak for itself when they're in the wild ;)

Wiser has been working well for me. Initially I couldn’t get the mount torqued down tight enough to not slide on the carbon fiber rod until I discovered I had it on backwards, 180 out. Now it tightens down perfectly and works great, no movement.

The MK Machine version works as advertised however, there are a couple of things to be aware of. First, the Gen III version DOES NOT work well on stocks with tapered forends. If you’re running a chassis it shouldn’t be a problem as most of them have straight sides and bottoms. Secondly, if you are running a “big boomer” with significant recoil, the heavy recoil can loosen any or all of the mounting and/or assembly screws and thus require loctite to them secure. I did not use loctite on the bayonet but did put a single wrap of camo tape on the stainless rod to prevent the bayonet from twisting. Other than these minor details, the unit is solid and works well.

On tapered stocks you can use small shims on the back of the bayonet mount to bring the front back down level with the barrel.....Works fine
