I am looking for 1-2,000 rounds of the Black Hills 5.56mm 77gr OTM (MK262 Mod 1)

or another like the Federal 193 in 5.56.
anyone know of a supply available?

a quick googlesearch will point you to oldvirginia ...now where is the M855 at "reasonable" prices. Horders and panic buyers are killing me.

np and good luck in your quest for ammo, http://badgerpeak.com/500rd-case-Black-Hills-5-56mm-77gr-OTM-MK262-Mod-1.html has better prices but is backordered. Sadly right now just about everything is sold out, inflated prices, etc. The days, months, to follow where people are regreting this crap and dumping all this ammo for cheap cant come soon enough.

The only thing I understand hording is mags over 10 rounds. There are dipshits out there that dont even have 5.56 weapons buying it...shits driving me nuts, I should of got into reloading long ago. end rant...

Reloading components aren't any easier to find. I have been looking for small rifle primers for sometime now. Finally, found a couple thousand at a small mom and pop shop in the boonies. They also had some ammo as well. I would suggest looking off the beaten path.

I was lucky enough to stock up on Primers, bulletts, brass for all of my bolt guns and have a Dillon 550 and a old RCBS rockchucker I bought in the 70's for more precision loads.
I have small primers but not a lot thought I would buy a case of the Black Hills and then reload the brass.

Got any gunshows near you? I've been to two since the madness began, one just today, both had bulk 5.56 in decent quantities, but you can buy individual boxes of Hornady or Federal match which they've also had for about the same price as what they're asking for 193 or 855.

You might call http://www.oldvirginia.net on Monday and ask, their website doesn't list 500rd cases as unavailable. No online ordering so you have to call

Ammo at the gun show today was 1.75-2.50 per round. $600 rifles for 3,000. I didn't need ammo because I reload, but they were still selling fast. I would suggest getting a reliad station setup, and get on backorders for components at Sinclair International if they don't have it in stock. I use a Hornady progressive press and I really like it. Single stage would take entirely too long if you want to do any high volume shooting IMHO.
