I really like my trg-22 trigger so I'd like to get a 2 stage trigger that is somewhat similar in feel and function.

I have considered CG X-Treme Mod 22 2-stage trigger as well as Anschutz trigger. Trigger will go into new Bat Tactical action(sold by Jamie) in an AICS stock.

Any suggestions for other 2 stage trigger would be welcome.

I have to agree, I have a TRG and had a Surgeon with the Huber 2 stage 2#, it felt just like my TRG. The trigger shoe even felt very similar!

I shoot with both a TRG and Huber. I have to disagree with above comment that they feel the same:

- TRG shoe has very flat feel with pronounced edge & you can distinctly tell it's plastic. Huber has a very smooth oval feel to it & you can distinctly tell it's metal.
- TRG has absolutely zero wobble. Huber has just a miniscule amount.
- TRG has a light and crisp 1st stage with dintinct pressure wall. Huber is a 'set' design where the 1st stage is 1# but once you 'set' it, it becomes a 0.5# 1st stage if you release it and re-engage. The Huber 1st stage feels barely squishy but it doesn't bother one bit.
- TRG has a very dintinct & unmatched break. Huber breaks clean but like the 1st stage, follow-through has a barely squishy feel.
- Both have fully & easily adjustable 1st stage and trigger weight. It's easier to play with the Huber 1st stage length.
- TRG is strictly a 2 stage trigger. You can convert the Huber between single to 2 stage.

That said, I really like the Huber and would definitely buy another one. As a kicker, John is a class act and a hoot to talk to!

I would love to hear some CG X-treme guys thoughts because I read German Salazar's glowing review & it was down to that and the Huber for me. Might have to test one on another rifle...
