Any places near Jacksonville NC to shoot LR?

Driving two hours to the nearest patch of farm land who's owners I know is starting to have schedule conflicts.

Anyone know of a place to shoot distances further than flatwoods offering of 200 yards? Farmland or ranges, I'm looking for a closer place than Johnston county.

Hit up Sean Little. I know he teaches a class in or around Goldsboro that's 1000yds. Granted that's 1.5 hrs from ya, but he might know some people.

I am also very interested in this. I can't find much of anything in this area. I have this topic on my watch list now, so hopefully a few of us in the area can work something out and get some decent shooting in.

Update, Sean Little didn't know of anyone closer to Jacksonville unfortunately.

Good luck. I am in the same boat as you. No public places to shoot unless you drive out of state.
