Any reason to go with AW mags over AICS mags other than compact size?

My receiver will be set up to take either one, and I got the smith to set aside 3 AW mags for me.....but finding pouches that fit AW mags is a bit of a pain. Is there any reason to go with AW mags over regular AICS mags other than if you just need/prefer the more compact size of the AW?

The AICS mags work fairly well in normal SR25 pouches, especially if you put a Magpul on them...so I'm tempted to just get AICS mags unless someone has a compelling case for AW.

I prefer AW mags because they load like AR mags, where you just push them straight down, rather than sliding them in from front to back. Also, you can top off the magazine with the mag still in the rifle. They accommodate a COAL of 2.950" without any modification.

I'd sure like to buy your AW mags, should you choose AICS instead.

Shorter, more durable since its welded on the bottom, and they feed much smoother then the AICS style mags.
