Anybody do Voice Acting?

Anyone here do voice acting?

I used to be a DJ in HS, competed in DJ contests in Seattle a lot...

Well that was almost 30 years ago but getting this desire to send an audition tape in to a couple of companies that do the voice-acting...

Just lookin' for info.

Everyone says I have the gift of gab...and could sell a bridge...LOL

I hear way way too much that I shouldn't make jokes or other voice overs in class..l.as in the other day in A&P II during teh reproduction chapter lecture:
Proff: "OK, semen has many traits. The first is that it has fructose in it. Can anyone tell me why? Yes, James?"

Me: "Is it so that chicks will dig it and swallow?"

Needless to say, after a few, well most of, the calss busted up...

The best way to copy voice is to record your voice copy. What we hear from our mouth's is not often exact right on pitch or flection. When you record it, you can better adjust it. This is the same reason singers use monitors, so they can hear themselves and adjust
