Anybody using WS2 (Tungsten Disulfide) to coat bullets?

Just curious what other's experiences have been with WS2. I just got 1oz of it, and am coating some old .308, 110gn V-Max to figure out the process. It's actually pretty easy to get good results. Any thoughts on fouling, accuracy, velocity etc? I know Molly fell out of favor, but don't know why. (I quit shooting for a good spell around 2006. When I started back I noticed that I didn't see Moly anymore.) Does Danzac have any negative effects that any of you have experience with. Please share what you can, and I'll update as I experiment.

I've used it for years with great results. It has much lower coefficient of friction than both moly and boron nitride and it doesn't build up on itself like moly. Don't know why it never caught on, but I've had very good results with it.

Thanks, VB. I just finished the V-Max and some Barnes 150gn RN, and they turned out great. I have some 175 Bergers going now. I like how easy it is to apply. Do you notice any difference in rounds down the barrel before fouling degrades accuracy?

I apply it in a 250cc pill bottle with about .75" of BB's in the bottom.
First, I wash the bullets in Dawn and warm water, then pat down with a paper towel before putting them in a 170 degree oven for 30 mins. After they come out of the oven, I put them in the bottle with the BB's and 8gn of Ws2, and tumble in a vibratory tumbler for 1hr. After they are coated to my liking , I shake them in an old Tupperware, with paper towels & shredded newspaper, for 30 seconds to remove any excess. For a final polish, I shake the bullets in an old sock for about 30 secs. No wax needed, and I have not had any black residue on my hands from handling the coated bullets.

I believe that both, ( hBN and WS2 ) . Are both Hexagonal shape, Nano size, lubricant . Even though they are different chemical compound .

I been using hBN for few years on a few select Cals.
I think ( hBN is still superior ) . just on the fact that it is Non Hydroscopic . But WS2 like Moly is Hydroscopic .
