Defunded!
Be advised that Vortex has implemented a product "improvement" replacing the parallax adjustment module with one that focuses down to 30 yds (rather than the previous (if you're lucky) 25 yds). If you have an old one to send in for a parallax issue, it will come back with the new 30 yd parallax (even if you described the issue as your particular scope not focusing down to 25 yds and you would like it to).

I've seen quite a few models that although the knob says 25yds, isn't parallax free at that setting. So I think they didn't change any internals, and mainly marked the knob to 30 yards to not have people bitch about why it can't parallax at 25 yards.

In my one example, definitely does not focus as close as it did before I sent it back. Their response is that the new mechanism is strengthened compared to the old setup but does bottom out at 30 yds.

My friend's AMG in low temperature had it freeze during a match and the elevation was adjusting the windage, that screwed him over pretty bad you can imagine.

I love my AMG, and ran it last year during Nationals. This year I probably will run the ZCO.

I shot half a season with my Razor Gen 2 and then switched to an AMG only to have it shit the bed at the finale. I now run a 5-25 S&B.
I have had more PMI’s fail on me than an other scope that I have owned FWIW. I am up to at least 3 if not 4 that have gone down 2 or 3 of them stopped tracking true (but would hold their position, so you were good as long as you did not dial) and one had a part of the erector machined incorrectly and would track in an arc. I know of many more that have had issues. Not trying to shit on your parade just a heads up that the 5-25 PMII is a great scope but can have issues.

Back on topic. I tried an AMG for my rimfires mainly to reduce some weight from the Razor Gen 2, but in the I prefer the Razor and deal with the added weight. To me and my eyes the Razor is more comfortable to shoot over extended periods than the AMG. I am not sure why but the AMG makes my eyes strain after a while.
