i just started reloading for my lapua and i decided to use the hornady 285hpbt.. I was wondering if any of you all have a good load for them using h-1000 powder?
My loads were
Fed 215 primer
Lapua brass
85gr-h1000
And the hornady 285 hpbt
From what it seems, this thing seems way slower then i am use too..seems in the range of 2500-2600. I would like to get in the speeds of 2700+.......
One more question...
In the hornady book 89.6 is the max load. I read alot of people going pretty far over this like 92-96gr. Is that safe ?
