I am going to buy a new barrel off of a fella that had this barrel chambered by Patriot arms. I think he said they were in the south maybe Alabama, or Louisiana ? I guess they do a lot of military type rifles??? Anyone have anything for me? Lee

yep....Patriot Arms is now known as American Precision Arms....Jered Joplin is the Head GS in charge over there. They are in Georgia.

where were they located three years ago? Just curious. Do they use broughton barrels a lot? I sure hope these are the same folks that chambered the barrel i am buying. Thanks Lee

My Patriot/APA has a Broughton......most accurate gun I own. If they bedded the gun also the barrel will have their proof mark on it.

My American Precision Arms (formerly Patriot Arms) bears a Broughton barrel (7.1 contour) and it shoots superbly and is extremely easy to clean. It is a bonafide 0.15 to 0.30 MOA rifle when I do my part.
