Haha I'm totally down with everything this song is puttin down. Right up my alley.

Northern soul is making a bit of a comeback right nowadays which I'm down with. I'm a fan.

Beats the hell out of most of the garbage produced nowadays.

This one really hits the spot, give it all the way through if you bother to start it's great.

THere's a great Northern soul show in Seattle that puts together a dance once a month or so called Talcum. I don't make it often, but it's about the best thing going if you want to move your feet. Incredible people putting that thing together.

That song by Cee-Lo is totally viral right now. Love it. And speaking of the Temptations, my mom dated one. And if you like The Tramps (old disco, you know "Disco Inferno") One of them was over my house last easter for dinner. No shit, he wore a shirt that said "VAGITARIANS EAT BETTER." Totally appropriate for Easter.

While I may love the hell out of some Northern soul or motown I'm definitely not going to fight you on this statement. I think there's no dismissing the occasional foray into oldschool hiphop.

I could list bands all day long, but I'll just let it rest 2 live will suffice.

Something to be proud of in my opinion.

The garbage produced nowadays sells. I don't know which is the more embarrassing truth about our society, the banal fluff folks call music these days, or the dismal fact that a significant segment of our population actually craves it. Somehow 'Hell in a hand basket' simply fails to evoke the magnitude of the aberrant absurdity.
