Anyone make pouches for Seekins mags?

Re: Anyone make pouches for Seekins mags?

Actually, I haven't just because I hear Nick's moving his shop and gettin orders caught up as well.

Still would like to find somont that would do or does them.

Re: Anyone make pouches for Seekins mags?

Actually Steve, the 5rd Seekins mags fits one at a time in the 5rd AICS pouch, but I'd like a pouch for 2 of them.

The shape of the Seekins mag is almost exactly the same as the AICS top to bottom and front to back, but its thinner side to side as its a true single stack.

I guess the Seekins would be like the AE mkI mags, are there any pouches for a couple of them? Looking at AE mkI mags pictured elsewhere, the Seekins are a little taller than AICS 5rd, and a little shorter than AE mkI's.

I'll get a pic later.

Re: Anyone make pouches for Seekins mags?

www.tacticaltailor.com give them a call, and they will make you whatever you want. If you can spare a mag, I'd send one in to them so they get the sizing perfect. They have a ton of colours to choose from and different materials. Great gear, great service! Just across the street from my base when I'm home!

Re: Anyone make pouches for Seekins mags?

Steve-
If the Triad single mag pouch were 1/3-1/2" deeper front to back it'd be perfect for a couple Seekins mags......

SIG383-I may look into that, thanks.

Re: Anyone make pouches for Seekins mags?

Sober,

I don't know if this will help you or not, but while Triad's single 5 RD AICS mag pouches were for a time, unobtainable, I used surplus (I think there were made by Eagle) frag grenade pouches for my AICS mags, and they fit fine, abet sideways. If the Seekins mags are thin enough you might get two in there.

Here's some pic's: From left to right: Triad 5 rd AICS mag pouch, Frag Grenade Pouch w/AICS mag inside, Tactical Taylor 7.62 Pouch w/10 RD AICS Mag aboard.

Next Pic. is showing the inside of the Frag grenade pouch, w/one 5 RD AICS mag.

Thank you for noticing "Optional Pants Saturday". It's a Southern thing you know. Wear no pants, and you can hear banjo music in the background..............

I could not fit two AI AE Mk1 into the Triad Single pouch. The Triad Double pouch for 10 rounders was way too big.

The Triad Double for 338/300 fit, but the floor-plates were almost even with the top edge of the pouch:

If the Seekins is a little shorter, it may be an issue.

One of the Snipers Hide Vendors that can sew may be able to help you out(GRT, SOT, RTG etc).

Re: Anyone make pouches for Seekins mags?

Steve-
I've got both the single 5 and double 10 AICS mags holders, and the double is too deep, and the single's jus ta c-hair too tight (another 1/2" deep and it'd be perfect). I think you're right on the 338 being a hir too tall.

LonewolfUSMC sounds like he's gonna give making something up a go.

I don't know how many of Glen's units were produced, and if he's going to strictly AICS compatible metal in the future, so the market for other than a one off here or there is doubtful.....
