Glad I didnt hesitate. I procrastinated for a minute or so but I was entering my CC info while doing it.

Good light to add to the back pack.

Fenix makes lights just as good as streamlight in my opinion here’s a coupon code for 30% off if anyone is interested type in FENIXUSFFD at checkout for 30% your order.

Klarus are another rock solid brand, I bought a couple of them 3 or 4 years ago and they are still like new, Love that Dark Earth colour. and seriously powerful.

Dang late to the party too. I like sure fire lights. I do have a few Olight lights that have been very good. I prefer a light that takes 18650 batteries.

Fenix is a great light.. Bright as F$#K, durable.. takes everyday abuse, been using 2 of the PD35's for a few years now.

BTW.. that coupon code says expired.

Yes very true they make tough lights. I have a large Malkoff that's damn good.

Sent an email to Surefire asking where my light is....

Response...

Don't ya just love that.... They don't bother to tell you the product is out of stock or backordered, with no idea of any ETA, but they sure as HELL go ahead charge your card!

They "pinged" the card but never tapped it so it wasnt that bad.

Just glad I didnt decide to buy spare batts or parts to go with it than find they shipped the peripherals without the light.

A proper response would be a modest promo code to encourage you to order an alternate one of their products. Dumb (lack of) marketing....

Actually.......

From SureFire

Hello Phillip,

I spoke with John our Customer Service Representative and I understand you placed an order on 3/23 for or Spring Cleaning Promotion.

You ordered the A2L-HA-RD, and unfortunately we did not send you an email notification that it was sold out.

I apologize for this mix up. Our products sold out much faster than we planned, and we had a glitch in our system as well.

Please let me know what we can do to make this up to you.

We value you as a customer and we want you to choose a comparable light on our website.

Let me know if you have any questions and I can assist with your order.

Have a nice weekend.

Thank you.

It sounds like Sure Fire is offering me a promo code I havent responded taking them up on it.....

Ms Winthrop,

Thank you for the reply. Your customer service rep did a good job in taking my call and I appreciate hearing back from you.

I ordered on to that flashlight about 1.5 hours after that email hit my email box. Now granted if you send out emails the way others do it could be a number more hours before the "M"s get sent and perhaps I was a little hasty in blasting you.

I noted that the item was able to be placed into my cart. I did get a confirm it seems that my order went through.

I was so impressed with the deal that I forwarded the info to others with the result that interested parties were also surprised the offer ended so soon. By the time they looked into it only an hour or to later the products were now showing "sold out".

Apologies for the crude posting....

Just disappointed in feeling like the deal was put out there knowing that few lights were available. I considered buying some spare batteries to go with it and I would be really pissed right now if I had received some related products at full price while not getting the deal item.

Id suggest in the future if you have that few items to sell do it in house or offer them up at prize tables in shooting events to avoid people thinking you are running bait and switch scams. Ive been carrying your gear as a PO for 13 years and enjoy the concussion my SF brakes shed on other shooters at the range. You make great products and I support your efforts to build in the USA.

I guess Ill forgive you this time.

I kind of wish I hadnt given this thread such a dumb title considering who is reading it now.

I came here to try and get you guys a deal that I was pretty happy to get and noted the disappointment rightfully so when you guys missed the deal.

So I wont take a personal break as offered by SureFire but if Ms, Winthrop offers one to the group on this thread that I have provided her a link to I will take part on that deal.

Id really like an Aviator with LED but would take a deal on an X300 for my MARSOC M45A1.
