I am looking pretty hard at this scope for an all purpose hunting/walkingvarminter rig: 18inch barreled spr styled AR.

This thing is so new it is not even on Leupold's website yet. They lack on the update page.
Found it on SWFA, looks interesting, but overpriced. Not much info on them.
They have a MK-4 MRT 1-5x20 with Ill reticle with M-2 target knobs for same price, should be better scope, unless the 1+power magnification is where it is at.
But the VX-6 has lead and arsenic free lenses, I'm scratching my balding head on this one??? I guess you can safely lick the lens clean??

my interest in the scope is two fold: I currently run a MK4 1.5-5 with M2 knobs. I also run it with an MRD site attached. I would like to get a real 1x magnification so I could drop the MRD and, although I might be the only one, I hate the SPR reticle.

Was hoping you would take a look at the MK4 and repost saying it looked the best thing since canned beer.
Then I was going to try sell you mine.
I can live with the spr reticle, but the M-2 knobs and BDC numbers on the turret too, suck.
