How are the reticles in those Henny’s from EuroOptic? That’s about the only thing that’s kept me from pulling the trigger on one.
I tried my best to get some pics at first light this morning. Not easy trying to hold everything still! These are all taken at 125 yd.

Do you experience any CA with yours? Especially on a white background?
CA can vary depending on your eyes. I don’t know why, maybe different refractive indices? My wife sees purple fringes through my Hensoldt where I see none.
BTW does anybody know what the reticle in the 4-16x56 LT (see Machtech's pic above) is called? I like it.
I use to think I needed high power X scopes.
Then I spent a whole weekend behind a very accurate gun with a fixed 10x.
It rearranged my thinking on scope power as it relates to LR capability.
Old school but simple and it just plain works.
What reticle is that? Man that would be perfect on a SB 10X!!!It's not the same as the NH-1, its been modified. It has .2 mrad hashmarks in the center illuminated part

The 16x question really interests me. I'm in Utah and do most of my shooting with a 4-16 Schmidt or 3.5-15 nxs. I keep thinking I want more mag but I generally just shoot steel and mirage is always a problem here. I'm also left wondering if a 5-25 wouldn't just leave me with mag that I can't use for most all conditions I shoot in. Looks like so far the general tone here is that it is. One a side note, yeah that Hensoldt is tempting.
