Anyone Running a JP Rifles MOR-07 Chassis?

I got to check these out at SHOT today and they look very nice. I searched around a fair amount and only found one mention of them in a different thread. Just wondering if there are any users out there and what you guys think. Thanks.

It's not finished yet my friend, but i have tried it on 2 different 700 barreled action, a 700P and a R5 so i have decided to build it with Surgeon action and Kreiger barrel. All i can say, is that i really like it.

Not really, the GRIP, yes but if you have the kind of BEAVER TAIL, you will have to cut it ( look at the bottom pic ) Also, for the stock, they have removed the TOP PORTION of it to fit the aluminium part, it is VERY STRONG but one can probably machine something a la savage BAS to fit ANY AR-15 stock but honestly, i see no reason to change this stock. Just my own opinion

I saw it last year and really liked it. There is a round forearm option too. Its a bit more than the McRees but less than the TacMod and I liked it better than the TacMod. I'm still debating whether to get the McRees or the JP.

I wonder if when the JP has the round handguard installed if the barrel is centered?

To add what 2 dogs was asking. No, it is not centered in the handguard. It is set high in the tube. One thing to also mention is that if you have a #7 contour, it might not work with the VTac. A Remington 700 varmint profile fits right in with very little room left near the receiver end. I have a Shilen #7 contour and the VTac will not work on that barrelled action.

Does anyone know where I can get a Chassis like this for a Remmy Long Action?? Want to put my 338 Lapua into one, and JP Rifles told me that that have no plans of making them for Long Actions...
