I am building a 260 and lilja has a 3 grove Rem varmint contour barrel in stock and ready to go. Only other option I can find is a bartlein. Anyone have any experience with the lilja?

As far as I am concerned Lilja make one of the best barrels made.
The 3 grove is a good barrel in smaller calibers and they seem to improve barrel life on high velocity varmint cartridges. also my experience with the 3 groove it that they seem faster with the same load. I have three rifles with the 3 groove and on average they are 50 ft/sec faster than the barrel they replaced.
It should work well in your 260.

I have a handfull of Lilja barrels(all shooters), two of them 6mm 3 grooves chambered in 6x47Laupa That Both shoot fantastic!! My 8 twist has shot 1.1" 500yd groups and taken prairie dogs past 1000yds. I will be using Lilja 3 grooves for feature builds
