Pretty tempted since I haven't found an Izhmash for less than $1600. Would love to hear some feedback on ammo digestion, smoothness, fit/finish, accuracy, etc.

thanks in advance!

thanks for the link! Hmmmm I wonder if a Larsen biathlon stock would come close enough to fitting to give it a try?

That was my review over on rimfire central. If you got any other ? on it feel free to ask. I put a few more rounds through it since the review. The ejection problems with the Eley seem to have gone away, but the CCI are still giving me problems. I got some Hornady on oreder and will see how that does. I don't plan on putting a 22lr barrel on this one, gonna keep it a HM2.

Drumie,

Thanks! Have you used any other toggle bolt actions to compare it to? Did you do anything else to use it as an HM2 except the barrel?
I think I'll have to get one of these. Now I am off to learn about rimfire barrels...

OinCo, No I have not used any other Toggle actions yet. I was going to get one but when I saw this was going to come out I put that plan on hold. All I had to do to use it as a HM2 was to use a VQ HM2 barrel. I am not sure if they are making them anymore or not. I don't see them on VQ website anymore. If you just buy the PWS receiver all you need is a trigger group, barrel, magazine and a stock and you will be shooting. It comes with the vblock, vblock bolts, trigger group pins and the recoil buffer.
