wondering if anyone has measure their MV before with the magneto and then measured drop data and put this into an app such as shooter to back calculate MV. If so how accurate was the app using this method vs the chrono?

if you put everything in correctly and your scope tracks it should be really close

just off the top of my head i know im using the magneto velocity for my 6.5 creed, 6 comp, 308, and 28 nosler loads...they all lined up to around 700 yds...had to tweak BC slightly on a couple of them out to 1100

btw what you described is basically what everyone does when they verify/true up their dope
