curious to see if anyone has any feedback yet on this line of scopes. they're creeping up in the nighforce nxs price range but seem to be catering to a different crowd. the 4-24 weighs 23 ounces with a 34mm tube and 52mm obj. the 3-18 with 50 mm object is 20 ounces

Ive fielded the (4) of the 3-18x50mm VX-6 scopes on various hunting rifles for the last two years... Im impressed with the performance. My only complaint has been with material quality. The first versions had cheap plastic gears under the elevation turrets. I sent them back for an upgrade and they were returned to me with brass internals. So Leupold has made positive revisions...

I would expect the VX-6HD to follow suit and offer great optical performance with minimal weight... Im building another hunting rifle and the 3-18x50 will be the scope I buy

Im with "Koshkin"... If Leupold would offer FFP in this line, they would find many new customers

i have a vx6 now, an i do like it to a point. just seemed like a lot of money for what you get. the vx6 hd seems to have everything the long range hunter would want.
