Spotters Anyone Use Quick Detach Adapters for Their Spotters On Their Tripods?

I was wondering if anyone used one of those QD type plates you used to see on cameras a long time ago; the dove tails jobs where you can just pop the male end into the female end, with the female side having a sprung lever for quick release. Could you share your set ups?

Looking for the old school style where you just pushed it right on (with no locks), then, when you needed to take it off, you rotated a spring loaded lever and grabbed it off. Anything like that?

There's lots of variations on the QD plate theme. One of the more ubiquitous types back in the day was the Manfrotto RC2/200PL but that system was eclipsed by the Arca-based accessories years ago.

My Gen 1 Razor has exactly what you're talking about. Bought it along with a Vortex Pro GT tripod a few years ago when Midway was closing them out. Not sure if the interface came with the scope or the tripod. Works great, BTW.

I use those on everything, spotters, a pic rail adapter, big dSLR, they are hella quick and - with some loctite - don't work loose.

RRS company has those type devices for spotter scopes and many other devices. I use one on a Leupold spotter.

I have Arca rails on all my spotters/binos and RRS or Leofoto quick-clamp mounts for them on all my tripods and even my hunting monopod.
