just as it says, they work well on the 22lr i have wondering if anyone tried out the larger cals.

usually i dont just poke a patch through, ill wrap it around the jag.

this seems to the same thing etc

Do you need the VFG pellet tip to use the felt pellets or can I just use the thread tip on my Dewey carbon rod?

I use the “aggressive” pellets. They work great. I prefer them over a brass brush. I’ve found the white plain pellets not as useful. A regular patch does the job that the plain pellets do for cheaper.

And yes you need the vfg pellet attachment. The end of a Dewey rod won’t work.

I use the vfg pellets in my 6mm and 6.5 caliber rifles. They work great. The aggressive pellets are great for carbon fouling with a little CLR. Then a swab of solvent to neutralize any trace left behind
