Just interested if anyone is using one with Varget and what results you are having?

I am looking into upgrading the powder dropping part of my reloading and considering this or a chargemaster. One plus to the quick measure is it can be used with a Dillon Progressive Press later down the road.

Any help is appreciated,
Rick

If your goal is consistency and accuracy get yourself the charge master and weigh each load. Soon after you'll start sorting the bullets by weight...can't do that with the dropped. Then comes measuring case volume...

Re: Anyone using a Quick Measure Dropper?

My brother has one and drops his .284 Winchester and .308 Winchester loads for both F-Class and plinking steel at a mile. He said its all about the consistency of the "drop." if you are very consistent, your dropped loads will be very consistent as in +/- 0.01 grains. His ammo works well so I have not reason to disagree with his statement.

Mine is relatively consistent, and it's very dependent on a good "stroke". I'm much more comfortable, however, dropping each charge with a Chargemaster or similar, especially for competition loads.
