Rifle Scopes Anyone using the TReMoR2?

Re: Anyone using the TReMoR2?

watch the new Magpul video. It is one long Horus infomercial. All the training is using Horus. There is also a section on tremor2.

it is the magpul the art of precision rifle dvd set. I believe the tremor2 section (only a few minutes however) is on dvd disc 5. dvd disc 1 and 2 teache how to shoot long range using the horus reticle. if you know how to use horus, tremor2 simply adds the wind dots, so one can skip calculating wind hold values in the head. Disc 2 teaches the equation to calculate wind hold. Once you understand that, the few minutes of tremor2 instruction is enough to understand it.

Now, whether it is better than H59 or not, I guess it depends. My thinking so far is not necessarily.

Re: Anyone using the TReMoR2?

The most interesting thing about this reticle isnt realy the reticle itself but the fact that at any given mill reading that matches the drop of the bullet the wind is also calibrated there as well. So in the video he says that if a particulare caliber is at x distance on say a 5 mil hold then another caliber that is faster or slower at a 5 mil hold over will still have close to the same wind call in the scope @ that 5 mil hold, however the distance is different for that hold. It seem logical to me however I wonder if this is a exact science. I think not but I havnt got the scope or tried to prove it either. I am interested to here some real world stuff on this. Sounds really neat and profound for that matter. Thoughts?

Re: Anyone using the TReMoR2?

I've contacted Horus for more info about the millings on the Tremor2. I have an HDMR with the same reticle, and it also had no manual. I'll share any info if I hear back.
