AR-15 weights????

I have searched and looked for so long on ar-15 weights and I find little of no information. To me this is so important. I have LBC M4 with scope and harris bipod it weighs 14lbs with no ammo!
I was wondering if some members would show pics of their ar's and the weights also? I am wondering about LaRue and LWRC in particular...some of the guns in LaRue screen saver must weigh a ton...with all the furniture. I can not imagine running with one of these guns....

Unless your scope, rings/mount, and bipod weigh 5.5lbs, I'd check your scale and make sure it is correct. The standard Les Baer M4 from the factory only weighs in at around 8.5lbs.

The LWRC M6 rifles (varies by configuration) weigh between 6.75 and 8lbs. Hell, the REPR with a 20" barrel only weighs around 11lbs unloaded.

The Larue rifles weigh a lot of different weights depending on how they are configured, which barrel, etc., etc., but you are right...depending on how much crap you hang off of them, they can get heavy quickly.
