OK, so I have had some pics up for a while but I finally got the first coat of Cerakote on last week. 2-3 more layers to complete the camo pattern are in the works. (the can is not done because it belongs to my cousin, YHM said I will still be waiting till Nov/Dec for my Phantom to show up)
    Enjoy

shoots great, except about 1/6 doesn't eject properly. either the case wont fully fly out or the bolt slams back shut before its ejected, not quite sure, need a slo-mo view to find out. as for targets, the only two I have on hand aren't a very good representation of how great it shoots. Oh, and modifying mags sucks, and buying them is even worse.
Last fall half way through the break in.

the only other picture I have taken of groups is of a video I recently made shooting 5 test loads of RL17 using 105gr Lapua Scenars to make sure 105's wouldn't keyhole on me
a respectable group for the powder variance

ever manage to get the slop worked out of your CAA stock.

I had an SRS on an ar10 that had way to much slop in it and sold it for a PRS.

    Re: AR.243WSSM

I guess mine doesnt have much for slop. I did however mannage to lose the spring on the inside of the push button for adjusting the length of pull...but CAA sent me a freebie lickity split. the only downside I can come up with is the pod tends to snags on my ghillie when I got it on my back...but then again, so does the charge handle and the scope caps so its a problem I am willing to deal with. I was going to go with the PRS and when i do my next build that is probably what i will use...but only because you can get monopods anywhere where now.
