AR-47 cycling issue

Buddy has one of these. He asked me to come look at it because it will fire one round, eject, but that’s it. Not picking up a second round/chambering it. (He’s using wolf 7.62x39 ammo). His castle nut was loose and I was able to get that sorted out, but don’t think that would cause said issues.

I’ve got a few ideas to play with, mainly starting at the magazine and possibly the BCG/feed ramps, then working from there?

I would start at buffer weight and double check gas block alignment.

Try firing a single mag feed and loaded round first... will it lock back on that ?

Then try different ammo , a different mag.

How many rounds through it ? ... does it need a little more break in ?

Plenty of lube ?

check youtube on this, theres supposed to be a lotta little common ycling hickups with tricks to fix on that platform iirc

one i read was making a mag stop in the magwell so it doesnt over insert
