I know there are a lot of experienced gun tuners here but I have also run across a lot of questions about ARs that should be fairly simple fixes. Is there anything here that has been put together to walk people through fixing malfunctions?

If not I can start a pretty big list. I will start by taking it out of a FM and can add to it.

Just trying to gage interest before I do the work.

Got one => The jamming of empties is the ejector spring can start around 2,000 rds and up.

Bolt not locking back could be gas block/tube issues.

I'll add my pet peeve.

Impropertly Sized Cases. The AR like all Semi's have a tendency to stretch over all "shoulder to base" lenght do to the action of the gas pushing from the inside of the shoulder at the instant the gas is escaping through the gas port pushing the bolt back, pulling on the rim.

Simple Fix. Always use a "case gage" in setting up sizing dies to ensure the case shoulder is set back to proper headspace specs.
