Ok I am looking for some feedback for AR optics I have a Specific set up I am driving for with my latest AR. This is for a 16 inch AR with a Rainier Ultra match 16 Inch barrel with a Adams Arms gas pistion system. I want a comact optic and have narrowed down to the US optics SN4 1X6 or the Leupold Mark 8 with a MIL dot reticle. The reason The Leupold is on the mix is because of an offer through Promotive.com that is a significant price reduction. The promotive thread is available to military and some other oganizations. I throw this in for infromation only and am not promoting it but you may want to check it out if you qualify to take part. I have and Nikon 2.5 x 10 on my other AR and have configured it with and 18 inch barrel for more of a DMR package. I have friends with a number of other scopes (leupold, Vortex etc)and these two seem to meet my requiremetns so any hints would be appreciated. I think I need to drve up to the US Optics factory before I decide.
