Would you take the chance to purchase one of these. Says it's 1 in 8 twist which is good 1 and 7 would have been better. Just curious for $200 just to have it everybody's got $200 laying around if something was wrong with it yes you could send it back but also you can find better parts and rebuild it what is your thoughts

I've built a few guns with AR stoner parts, I've never had issue. I've use their 5.56 10.5" barrels an while they were good on semi, they would not always run on full until I opened the gas hole in the barrel to 0.084 after that they ran like watches.
Mil-spec doesn't mean what you think it means, but yes it is likely all mil-spec.
I'm not sure I'd buy one but it depends on what you are looking for. There is nothing wrong with being affordable.
Looking at them it's not my barrel or gas system choice but for an upper receiver and BCG even if I would remove the barrel and hand guard for a different barrel and float tube that's not a bad price.

Not even close.
Right out of the gate, 1:8 twist is not mil spec.
4140 barrel, not mil spec.
No mention of chrome lining, so I’m guessing that’s a no.
There’s probably a dozen other short cuts in materials, processes and inspections that fall far short of mil spec.
Gas port is probably way oversized to run with shitty ammo.
Do you need mil spec? I can’t answer that for you.
It’s a $200 upper. It’s probably worth close to that.
Yeah I was thinking of just getting it so I can swap uppers with my compass Lake engineering just for something else little shorter more compact. The compass Lake engineering 24in Krieger it's a hammer with 77 grain TMK and 24 grains of cfe223
Yeah the one in eight twist is kind of funny I swear it' said 1 and 7 somewhere else can't remember where I seen it
