AR10 6.5

If you want to build one, get one of the aero kits. They have some pretty neat paint designs. I have 2 of them with barrels cut by Craddock Precision. I did a Criterion and a Bart barrel, and they both shoot great. Bart barreled gun ran at 2k $, the Criterion ran 1500$. If you build it, you put the parts that you want into the gun instead of paying thrice for them...

You can build on but it’s expensive. Some folks say AR-10s can be tricky to build. I decided to get a Seekins Coupon from someone on the Hide. The. I just bought a 6.5 SP-10 from Seekins Precision. Rifle shoots great. It had most everything I wanted anyway so it was a no brained for me. One other thing about it is that it is fully ambidextrous except the charging handle. You can flip the safety, lock/unlock bolt and mag from both sides.

I'm in a similar boat where I'm looking for a semi auto 6.5 that's reliable enough to run through a fighting carbine class, but accurate enough to take to a match. So far I haven't seen anything that really meets up with those two requirements.

I have to agree. Traded my first SP10 for an AI AT, but missed the SP10, bought another. Absolutely love the gun. Super accurate and very reliable.
