well sorry for your loss as those old DPMS SASS were track drivers! LMT with the SS barrel will get you as close to a bolt gun with proven reliability and unmatched versatility.

Beautiful pic! What's wrong with your current rifle? Giver her a refresh, a new barrel and buttstock and you're in business again. There's no need to get a new rifle unless you just want a new rifle.

I talked with the store about their website not listing guns in stock. They said their web site does not share the same database as store inventory database. There is no link between them but they are aware something needs to be done.

I loved my SASS G2. I all but stole it from a local pawn shop (owned by an acquaintance of mine that I desperately tried to give more than he was asking....I paid a little bit over $800 for it before tax) and couldn't refuse the offer I was made so I sold it during the pandemic for about 1.5 times MSRP. I replaced it with an Armalite DEF, but I still miss that rifle so I am considering getting another along with a Uintah Precision bolt action upper to with it. There were a few minor things that annoyed me about the SASS G2. What is making you want to replace yours, OP?

folks with the small-frame AR-10's (do we call the small frames "AR-10"?), not sure if they'll be happy going from the compact small-frame format to the full-size large-frame AR-308 format.
