I need some help regarding setting up and calculating elevation clicks for a new scope and gun.

I am looking for a high quality one piece mount for a new S&B 5x25x56 for a Rock River Predator with a picatinny rail. I have looked at Near, LaRue, ADM but am not sure which will work the best. I need 34mm rings on it and have thought that having 20MOA built into it would be ideal.

I plan to have a 200 meter zero with the gun. I am trying to figure out how many clicks I would have to dial in for a shot at 600 yds using a 75 grain 5.56 Hornady round. The scope will adjust in .01 Mil or .36" per click and will have 27 MIL's of travel. It will have the XR reticle as I plan to sometimes dial in the elevation adjustment if time permits and sometimes hold over the target if in a hurry.

Can someone run through the numbers and show me how to calculate the amount of clicks needed for a direct hold on once I range a target?
Thanks
Gary

also try googling JBM Ballistics and that program will generate a come up card for your rifle that is normally pretty spot on. Then you print it out and then fine tune it

As far as a solid one piece mount. larue is the best made imo. i think the larue's have 10 moa built in but maybe only certain models. if you want 20 moa built in nightforce unimount is probably your best bet. also for a good amount more money knights armament makes one w/18 moa built in but they are close to 300 bucks.
