Rifle Scopes are there two h 58 rets

I just bought a s&b with a h 58 ret. It does not look like my rets in my hdmrs. I was not aware there were 2 h58s? This one only has tick marks in the 1st mil section of the ret. Any ideas? Thanks

I heard today S&B put some H59 reticles that are marked H58, look at the H59 and see if it matches.

I believe they are mis-marked, we were talking about this very thing today.

This one does not have tick marks verticly after one mil. After one mil the only marks on the verticle line are in whole mils. I didnt know there was more than one h58.

See the tick marks below center? There are none below 1 mil? I can't find another picture of this anywhere.

Pretty sure that pic is an H58. Here's a reference. I think the newer HDMR's all have H59's or G2DMR in them

Definitely looks like something is missing. It sucks, but it needs to go back for the correct reticle.

It's not the first time S&B has screwed up reticles.

And the HDMRs have H59s in them.

Since I started this thread I have found out there were some early reticles that were different than the later ones. I contacted Jerry R here on the hide and he is fixing this for me at NO CHARGE! This my is 1st S&B but not my last. He is installing a brand new h58 the way it is supposed to be. This is what standing behind your product looks like. This is what you should get when you spend this much on a scope. I am greatful for the service. Just wanted to let some people know.
