Aren't people just great?

Re: Aren't people just great?

I just don't understand. His own son. What guilt and torment must that poor sister be carrying with her at the hands of those two monsters?

+1 and I am not sure that would be enough.

Re: Aren't people just great?

Link ain't workin' for me, but I think I get the drift....

From someone who would willingly give my life to save family, friend, or countrymen....I simply cannot wrap my brain around what makes those worthless fucks tick who would harm their own kids, or anyone's kids for that matter.

Hell is just too damn good for 'em...........

Re: Aren't people just great?

I can almost understand alot of bad and evil things in this world, but as a father, anyone who would harm their own children is using up precious air on this planet. Child abuse is probably a capital offense in my book in a lot of situations

No death penalty for this guy, life in prison. Once the prisoners find out what he did, it will be a living hell for him as well. He can meet up with Jeffery Dahmer in the after life. Anyone have a mop handle?

I disagree, the need to live a horrible, excruciatingly painful, tortured daily, life for the next 3 or 4 decades.

Re: Aren't people just great?

I've said it before and I'll say it again- there are too damn many people on this little blue space rock. There will always be psychos, but the quantity thereof is proportional to the total.

We need to return to our more basic nature, back when we were more in tune with "God's Law" than man's. [This is intended as a commentary on human nature, not religion, so please don't go there.]

I feel for kids that suffer cruelty, we (as a species) have failed them by failing to hold each other accountable for our deeds. In cases like this, it's important to realize that death is more merciful than lingering in such an evil place.

Look how many kids are warped by this one single incident, how sad. I hope in time they can move past it and not perpetuate it. As for dad, I say public waterboarding would be good. Followed by a good old fashioned hanging. Step-mom deserves no better, even if she wasn't the ringleader...

to quote Bonhoeffer: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil ... Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act.”

Great quote. +1

Re: Aren't people just great?

I didn't have the moral or emotional courage to finish the article. :-(

That poor, poor child. How is it that people could be so heinously evil and wrongheaded about things?
