Does anyone have any experience with Armageddon Gear's tripod sling? Looking for some way to quickly break down and carry my tripod setup between coyote stands without having to put it in a bag every time.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies! I really like the fact that the Armageddon gear setup has the sling, leg retention, and carry handle all in one unit. I just wasn't sure about durability and if it's simple of a setup as it looks. I still haven't made my mind up at all so all suggestions or comments are welcome and I will check them out. Thnx!

Just received an Armedgeddon tripod sling. Disappointed in it so far. My tripod is PIG0331-G from Shadow Tech...makers of Hog Saddle,,,,with the Sunfoto 52mm XB-52 ball head and Hog Saddle. The sling uses three hook/loop straps to attach to one tripod leg. The double layer of strap running along the tripod leg between the three straps is not rigid. It is very limp. This design results in the straps sliding along the tripod leg rather than staying fixed. Hog SAddle end of tripod is much heavier and tends to drop with the sling design. Not practical, functional at all. The three attachment straps need to be fixed to the leg with rubber to prevent sliding and the strap leg needs to be stiff like molle II connector straps. Poor, NON-FUNCTIONAL DESIGN> Very disappointed. Would not buy again. Rigged a better sling with paracord anf rubber tubing......replicating a pull tab on a USMC pack.

That sling was never designed for a slick surface of a tripod. You can run Velcro around the tripod leg to keep it in place or simply run camo tape and it will remain in place.
